Director - Operations

BASIC FUNCTION:

This position will provide leadership, planning and management for
all areas of information technology strategy, development and
implementation for the Enterprise Functions; Finance, HR, and
Marketing. The scope of these responsibilities includes: partnering
with executive functional leadership, developing an IT strategy,
commissioning new efforts to deliver incremental value, leading the
implementation of new capabilities, agreeing and delivering on
yearly budgets with the functional leadership, and owning the
relationship with 3rd party vendors providing support of existing IT
Services for the functions.

This position requires a highly motivated, proactive leader with the
leadership, collaboration, and communication skills necessary to
forge a partnership with the executive functional leaders.

The Director, Operations is a leadership role and report directly to
the President and CEO of Vayyusoft.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Lead the successful use of information technologies to help achieve
the organization’s goals, Work closely with executives to define an
information technology vision and strategy aligned to their strategy
-
Develop new offerings that meet the strategic vision of the company.

Recommends creative new technology, processes, or data to drive more
value and lower cost.

Develop opportunities pipline and responsible for revenue generation
activities for the company.

Provides guidance to executives for proposed new information
technology systems, or major enhancements.

Responsible for the design, development and support of information
technology applications supporting the Enterprise Functions

Ensures project commitments made to the Enterprise Functions are
met, including delivering on scope, schedule, and budget.

Manages a team of professionals delivering incremental value for the
Enterprise Functions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
-
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, information
systems, or business administration or related field.

15+ years of IT experience with demonstrated leadership roles in
partnering with senior business executives

Proven leadership and communication skills, decision oriented and
able to coordinate technological operations, theories and governance
processes
- Excellent project management experience
- Ability to develop, motivate and lead a successful team
- Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
